The Correspondence Company
About us

Some words deserve more than a screen.

The Correspondence Company makes it possible to give someone the words of the people who love them — on paper, in envelopes, sealed until the moment.

A keepsake box reading 'For the moments that shape us' beside a sealed envelope

We started with a simple observation: the words that matter most rarely get written down. They're said in passing at weddings, mumbled at hospital bedsides, saved for eulogies. The group chat scrolls away. The voicemail box fills. And the people we love go years without holding proof of what everyone around them actually thinks of them.

So we make kits — one person invites the others, each writes one real letter, and the letters are gathered, sealed, into a keepsake meant to be opened at the right moment. And we make letters — a guided way to write one that says what you mean, which we pen, seal, and mail.

Effort is the point. A real letter costs something to make — a little time, a little courage — and that's precisely why it means something to receive. We'll help you every step, but we will never write your feelings for you. The words are yours or they're worthless.

Every kit is assembled by hand. Est. 2026 · New York.

Three promises we build everything on

Sealed means sealed

Letters stay sealed until the moment — no one reads them early. Not the organizer. Not us.

Addresses aren't assets

Delivery details exist to deliver. After that, they're purged — not filed, not marketed to.

Your words, untouched

We frame and arrange what you say. We never generate sentiment on your behalf.

Whose words would you want to keep?

Start with the moment — there's a kit for it.
